I don't know how long I have this page by xanga, but still nobody signed my guestbook.
I am really happy, my weekend classes are finished. For the future I will have more time for laerning and studying for myselve, which will make me smarter and smarter... Bullshit, if you believe me what I wrote get your ass out of my xanga page or let me demonstrate how I can shake my ass in the club! Lets get tipsy baby.
I have never explained why I am in the United States and what the hell I am doing here! So, lets start:
I am participant in the 2004-2005 Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange Program for Young Professionals, administered by CDS International, Inc., headquartered in New York, and InWEnt gGmbH (formerly the Carl Duisberg Gesellschaft) in Cologne, Germany.
This competitive scholarship program was begun through the President's Youth Exchange Initiative, which was established in 1983 by President Roland Reagan. The exchange combines the efforts of government and private sectors and is designed to strengthen thies between the younger generations of both countries. It is financially supported by the U.S Congress and the German Bundestag and was created in celebration of the 300th anniversary of German immigration to the United States.
The program for German participants in the United States begins in August and concludes mid-July of the following year. Participants are enrolled in career-oriented courses at colleges throughout the U.S. for the Fall semester, to be followed by full-time, paid internship form January through June 2005. All program participants hold a J-1 Exchange Visitor visa, granting them eligibility to undertake paid employment in the U.S. in their respective professional fields. In addition, all participants are covered by the program for accident and health insurance.
German participants in the Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange Program have just completed two to three years of practical training in their professional fields in Germany. Germany has a unique professional development system, involving apprecticeships, which many nations, including the United States, are using as a model in developing workforce training for the twenty-first century. The Congress-Bundestag Program is intened to help companies in the United States learn about the education system in Germany and for participants to gain insight into professional development in the U.S.
Thank you, thank you... Yeah, I am a fucking GENIUSS, just kidding. I am still looking for a job in the insurance industry. If you have some contacts please let me know. If you are interested for spending a year in Germany go to this link to get more information about the Geramn Program
